In addition, his expertise includes energy, insurance and insolvency law. His practice covers board advisory including distress finance and acting as chair in general meetings of shareholders. In his more than 30 years of practice, Risto has worked on both domestic and cross-border transactions in Europe, Asia and North America. Before founding Itäinen & Ojantakanen Attorneys Ltd, Risto was a partner at White&Case LLP for ten years, and before that a partner at a major Helsinki law firm for fourteen years.
