Ozan Karaduman joined the firm in 2007 and is a partner. He specialises in corporate and M&A practice area, technology, media and telecom and energy and natural resources sectors.
Ozan has been involved in various M&A transactions, and advised foreign and Turkish companies on their joint ventures, drafted and negotiated SPAs, SHAs and JV agreements, conducted the due diligence processes, and prepared and re-structured numerous commercial agreements.
Ozan has broad experience in telecommunications and has represented major multinational software and hardware companies in their projects in Turkey and before the Turkish Regulatory Authority. Ozan’s practice in the telecommunication sector includes VoIP, software licensing, IT Outsourcing, infrastructure operation, numbering, encryption, radio broadcasting and authorization of the electronic communication services.
Ozan Karaduman has managed various consultancy, training and audit projects related to compliance with the data protection law. He holds Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe (CIPP/E) designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Ozan has also been working on energy projects, assisting clients in structuring their projects in the oil and electricity markets from oil upstream activities to electricity generation.
