Mathilde Cousteau has a recognized practice in the fields of commercial litigation, arbitration, white-collar crime and enforcement matters.

She advises and represents French and foreign companies in various sectors, regarding significant commercial or financial disputes. 

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, she holds an advanced degree (DESS) in business law from the University of Versailles (2005) and she graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (“Sciences Po Paris”), Financial and Strategy section in 2007. 

Before joining Bersay as a counsel, Mathilde worked for ten years (2008 to 2018) at White & Case Paris, including six months on secondment to White & Case’s Washington D.C. office as part of the team advising a major French bank on a significant cross border investigation launched by U.S, French, and other European regulatory authorities.
