Lupita has focused her legal practice in the areas of energy law, infrastructure and project finance. She has advised government entities and private sector companies in the design, structuring and implementation of public works projects; public-private partnerships; and the construction, operation and maintenance of ports, highways, power plants and a large list of infrastructure projects. She has also directed numerous tenders for the award of diverse projects.

In the electricity sector, she has advised national and international clients in all types of projects related to the new Wholesale Electricity Market, including its successful participation in Long Term Auctions and its accreditation as market participants. She has also successfully negotiated and implemented contracts related to the financing of production, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity projects, and has experience in alternative power generation schemes (both on and off-grid).
