Juan Costa Climent is a highly regarded international lawyer. 

As a lawyer, former Spanish government minister and former Global Leader for Climate Change and Sustainability Services for EY, Juan Costa has a unique perspective and unparalleled experience that informs his innovative and market leading advice on sustainability and climate change. 

Drawing on a career that spans public service and private practice, as well as his position as senior advisor to international companies, member of philanthropic institutions and lecturer at universities, he specialises in advising businesses and governments on how to grow value through proactive engagement.

He is an international thought leader in business and sustainability, and has published several books including La Revolución Imparable: One Planet, One Economy and Government (Espasa 2010) and Multicapitalismo (Deusto 2021). 

His private sector experience includes EY Global Leader for Climate Change and Sustainability Services and member of the Global Assurance Leadership Team. Before that he led EY Abogados Spain as President.

In the public sector, he served as Minister of State for Finance, Secretary of State for Trade, Minister for Science, Technology and Industry in Spain, and as an IMF fellow.
