Josh is a Partner in Piper Alderman’s Corporate and Commercial team where he provides a wide range of corporate and commercial advice.

Josh specialises in public and private acquisitions and equity capital market transactions, with a particular focus in the energy and resources sectors. This includes regularly advising clients on compliance with the ASX Listing Rules, the Corporations Act and the provision of general corporate governance advice, including advising on capital raisings, business and asset and company acquisitions, corporate restructuring and farm-in and joint-venture and shareholder agreements.

Previously, Josh worked for NZX, the operator of New Zealand’s securities, derivatives and electricity markets, where he was involved in NZX’s corporate and commercial and regulatory activities. This included conducting investigations and proceedings into breaches of NZX’s Listing and Participant Rules and providing advises on aspects of NZX’s electricity, data and technology businesses, involvement in the establishment of New Zealand’s central counter-party clearing house and acting as company secretary for LINK Market Services NZ (share registry) and NZCDC (the operator of New Zealand’s central counter-party clearing house).
