Graduating from Seoul National University (LL.B.) and Columbia Law School (LL.M.), JANG, Joo Hyoung, a partner attorney of Barun Law LLC has served as Member of the Digital Media City of Seoul since 2003; and Vice-Commissioner of the International Committee of the Korean Bar Association and Member of the In-House Lawyers’ Special Committee of the Korean Bar Association since 2011.

His practice focuses on cross-border transactions, M&As and general corporate matters.

He has accumulated a broad range of experience and expertise in the fields of cross-border transactions and M&As, and his representations include JP Morgan Chase & Co. in an litigation action and negotiations relating to derivatives linked to the Thailand baht with local financial institutions, Deutsche Bank on the transaction of NPLs receivable from Jinro Group and the bankruptcy procedure of Jinro Group, KT Consortium on the acquisition of Kumho Rent A Car Co., Ltd., and CDL Co., Ltd. on the acquisition of the Hilton Seoul.
