Georgina is an associate in the Litigation practice in the Washington, D.C. office.

She focuses her practice on government investigations and enforcement, compliance, white collar defense and civil litigation. Georgina has represented corporations and individuals in investigative, regulatory and trial matters, including U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Inspector General (IG) investigations, compliance counseling and mandatory and voluntary disclosure matters. She has significant experience assisting clients with matters involving the False Claims Act, public corruption and procurement integrity, including federal agency and internal investigations as well as compliance counseling. She often advises clients in the highly regulated industries of healthcare and government contracting. Additionally, she conducts investigations involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other potential corporate misconduct. As part of her practice, Georgina has defended individuals in federal and state courts involving white-collar criminal offenses such as shareholder fraud, embezzlement, tax offenses, and false statements.

In civil matters, Georgina advises and represents clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-dispute stages, discovery and dispositive motions practice through resolution. In particular, she regularly defends qui tam litigation for clients in the healthcare and government contracting spaces.

After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law, Georgina served as law clerk to the Honorable Cheryl V. Higgins of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit of Virginia, in Albemarle County.
