Weightmans and RadcliffesLeBrasseur merge

09 Aug 2022

“Stronger Together" — Weightmans and RadcliffesLeBrasseur completed their merger on Monday 13 June 2022 to create the new Weightmans LLP, growing both firms’ presence in the UK and providing a wider range of market leading services focused on client service excellence.

The combined firm will have a turnover of £120m+, with 225 partners and a total headcount of over 1400 people, cementing its place as a top 40 national firm.

The merger will expand the existing support provided to the firm’s clients, as well as enhancing the capabilities across core services. It will add further outstanding expertise to both firms’ national practices and the resources to ensure that the combined firm continues to meet the ever-increasing needs and expectations of all clients, large and small, whether public bodies, public or private businesses, not for profit enterprises or individuals.

The merger has further strengthened our international private wealth service for high and ultra-high net worth individuals and families operating internationally.

Our experts provide a full international private wealth service to a range of complex multi-jurisdictional clients working alongside accountants, fiduciaries, wealth managers and financial advisers to deliver the very best technical support and advice for clients across international borders and traversing different tax and succession regimes.

The team includes multi-lingual experts, who have qualified in the UK and with a global coverage from Europe and the US, to the New World, South East Asia and the Middle East.

National Head of Private Client Emma Collins said:

"RadcliffesLeBrasseur is an internationally renowned private wealth firm of trusted advisers. They share our commitment to providing expert client service to complex clients with diverse family and private client needs across multiple jurisdictions and service areas.
