The news magazine FOCUS included RITTERSHAUS in the list of the most renowned commercial law firms in Germany for the first time. The law firm was also honored in the areas of data protection law and corporate law and, for the first time, for advice in the area of mergers & acquisitions. Once a year, FOCUS honors around 1,000 lawyers and law firms as top law firms in a special issue entitled “Recht & Rat”.
For the lawyers in the corporate/M&A and data protection law practice of RITTERSHAUS in Frankfurt, Mannheim and Munich, the award in the peer-to-peer process by the leading German law firms and legal departments of the companies is confirmation of the successful further development and growth.

For the survey, more than 13,000 lawyers in commercial law firms and 2,850 in-house lawyers were contacted and invited to name commercial law firms that were particularly recommendable. The award for a department is always based on an above-average number of recommendations for the corresponding area. As an excellent law firm, RITTERSHAUS is, according to FOCUS, “at the top of the respective specialist area”.
The business magazine WirtschaftsWoche and the US publisher Best Lawyers also regularly award RITTERSHAUS and the law firm’s lawyers as leaders in their specialist areas.
