Bell Nunnally Partners Jeff Lowenstein and Chris Trowbridge Again Named to Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Litigators in America” List

22 Sep 2023 North America

Bell Nunnally Partner Jeffrey S. Lowenstein and Managing Partner Christopher B. Trowbridge have again been named to the 2024 “Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America” list. The pair was first listed in the outlet’s inaugural 2022 edition.

Lowenstein’s trial practice focuses on the representation of businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals in a variety of complex commercial matters and business disputes. He assists clients from the prelitigation planning phase, trial and all the way through appeals. Outside of the courtroom, Lowenstein plays a key role in counseling clients through existing and threatened litigation risks. He frequently advises clients on internal investigations, risk assessment and avoidance, data secrecy and data security and employment issues. Lowenstein also serves in an advisory role providing litigation assessments and risks in transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, intellectual property transactions, estate and tax planning, immigration issues and criminal/regulatory proceedings.

Trowbridge is the Managing Partner of Bell Nunnally and the Vice Chairman of Legalink, a global law firm network representing 68 law firms around the world. He vigorously protects his clients’ interests in high-stakes complex business disputes. Trowbridge’s clients are nationwide and range from high-net-worth individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Adept and at ease in courtrooms throughout the Southwest, the Fifth Circuit and across the U.S., he has represented clients in multimillion-dollar disputes in state, federal and appellate courts and arbitrations in Florida, California, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Arkansas, South Carolina and cities across Texas.

Lawdragon, a legal media company and ranking service, notes that its “500 Leading Litigators in America” list “assess[es] America’s top talent among those who represent, chiefly, corporations and other wealthy entities in epic battles involving antitrust; financial and securities litigation; intellectual property; commercial; real estate; M&A and Chancery; cybersecurity and data privacy; and, of course, white collar and investigations.” They add, “[T]hese are the advisors you want to send into battle.”

Selections were made based on submissions, journalistic research of the lawyers behind the biggest cases and editorial vetting from a board of peers.
