To what extent is the Covid-19 pandemic considered a “force majeure” excuse in contractual relations

A Committee of the Isle of Man Law Society was established to focus specifically on “force majeure” in conveyancing transactions.

A proposed clause has been drafted and circulated to all firms engage in property transactions. Whilst it’s not mandatory, it is being considered as good practice in the current climate.
