Mission Statement:
The premise of this SIG is that a good lawyer is not necessarily a good businessman and a law practice is a professional service business which needs to be managed & developed well and properly. Management issues in law firms tend to be universal by nature and are not per se different because practices are in different jurisdictions.
The mission of this SIG is to share the practical experience of all of its members and to assist and complement each other regarding important issues such as strategic planning, budgeting, marketing, compensation and reward systems, client selection & retention, managing expertise, ethics and law office technology.
